Developing of innovative recycled polymer by customized state-of-the-art wastewater technology


In May 2022 Kaskada Ltd. started implementation of the project Developing of innovative recycled polymer by customized state-of-the-art wastewater technology supported by a grant from Norway through the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021, in the frame of Program Area 01 – Business Development, Innovation and SMEs.

The planned duration is 12 months, and the value of the entire project is 558 150, 00 Euro (grant 198 300 Euro is 34,99 % of the eligible cost of the project).

The overall objective of the project is to increase the competitiveness of Kaskada Ltd. in the form of growth in turnover and net operational profit and creation of new job by developing of new green product – recycled polypropylene from end-of-use bulk bags and fishery nets and ropes that could be used as a raw material for production of new bulk bags.

The new product is green because it is designed using the closed-loop concept and will reduce significantly plastic waste from industrial packaging (bulk bags) and industrial fishery (nets and ropes) and will reduce the use of virgin nonrenewable material - petrol.
